SASAMI, the musical project of Shelby Sandoval, will be performing at Fernwood Campground in Modesto, California on September 25, 2026. Sandoval’s music blends elements of indie rock, dream pop, and shoegaze, often incorporating layered instrumentation including guitars, synthesizers, and her classically trained vocal range. Her work frequently explores themes of faith, identity, and vulnerability with a distinctive sonic texture characterized by both delicate arrangements and moments of intense distortion. She has released two full-length albums to date: *You Know I Love It* (2021) and *The Greatest Wish for Everything* (2023), receiving critical acclaim for her songwriting and production.

Fernwood Campground is a privately owned campground situated along the Stanislaus River near Modesto. Established in 1954, it has a long history as a recreational destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts in the Central Valley. Beyond traditional camping facilities—including RV sites and tent camping—Fernwood is known for hosting live music events and festivals. The campground features a natural amphitheater setting utilized for performances; it has become a regular stop for touring musicians seeking a more intimate outdoor venue experience.
