The NDR Konzerthaus Hannover is a significant concert hall in northern Germany, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Originally built as the Stadttheater in 1902 in the Art Nouveau style, it underwent extensive renovation between 2008 and 2013. This refurbishment focused on improving acoustic properties while preserving the building’s historical architectural features.

The Konzerthaus serves as the primary concert venue for the North German Radio (NDR) Symphony Orchestra and Choir, hosting approximately 150 concerts annually encompassing orchestral performances, chamber music, song recitals and contemporary music.
