Experience Sandro Nebieridze
Sandro Nebieridze is a Georgian-German pianist and composer rapidly gaining international recognition for his intensely lyrical and emotionally resonant performances. Born in 1991, Nebieridze studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with Stephen Hough, and previously at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. He’s a laureate of numerous prestigious competitions, including first prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2021), a competition historically dominated by established artists.
Nebieridze's repertoire spans from Bach to contemporary composers, but he is particularly celebrated for his interpretations of Romantic-era works – Chopin, Schumann, and Rachmaninoff frequently feature in his acclaimed recitals. His style is characterized by a remarkable control of dynamics and timbre, coupled with a deeply personal and introspective approach to the music.
Beyond performance, Nebieridze composes, often incorporating elements of improvisation into his concerts. He debuted as a composer at the Klavierfestival Ruhr in 2018. Recent engagements include performances with leading orchestras worldwide and solo recitals at renowned venues like the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. He is currently an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music.
