Samara Joy is a contemporary jazz vocalist recognized for her interpretations of the Great American Songbook and original compositions. Her style blends classic jazz vocal techniques with a modern sensibility, often incorporating scat singing and a warm, velvety tone. She gained prominence after winning the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for *Linger Awhile*, and is known for reviving interest in jazz standards amongst a wider audience.

The concert will take place at the Théâtre Antique De Vienne in Vienne, France on July 10, 2026. This venue is a remarkably well-preserved Roman theatre dating back to the 1st century AD during the reign of Emperor Augustus. Originally constructed to host theatrical performances and gladiatorial contests for Vienne’s Roman citizens, it could accommodate approximately 8,700 spectators.

Following periods of disuse and partial burial, significant restoration efforts began in the 19th century, revealing much of its original structure. Today, it remains a functioning performance space renowned for its acoustics and historical significance.
