Samara Joy is a contemporary jazz vocalist recognized for her interpretations of classic jazz standards and original compositions. Her style draws heavily from the vocal traditions of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Billie Holiday, characterized by a warm tone, precise phrasing, and improvisational skill. She gained prominence after winning the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for *Linger Awhile*, and has been lauded for bringing renewed attention to traditional jazz vocals amongst a wider audience.

Teatro Monumental Madrid is a historic concert venue located in the University neighborhood of Madrid, Spain. Originally inaugurated in 1923 as the Cinema Monumental, it was one of Madrid’s first large-capacity cinemas. Throughout its history, it hosted film premieres and various performances before undergoing extensive renovations in 2018 to transform it into a dedicated live music venue. The building retains much of its original Art Deco architecture, including ornate detailing and a high ceiling, contributing to its distinctive atmosphere. It now functions as a significant space for national and international musical acts, accommodating approximately 3,000 attendees. Samara Joy is scheduled to perform there on November 14th, 2026.
