Sam Grisman Project is scheduled to perform at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island on July 26, 2026. Led by mandolinist Sam Grisman – son of legendary Dawg-style bluegrass pioneer David Grisman – the project features a dynamic ensemble known for energetic live performances and genre-bending compositions.

Fort Adams State Park occupies a significant historical position. Construction of the fort began in 1824 and continued for decades, representing one of the largest coastal fortifications in the United States. It served as an active military installation through World War II, undergoing several phases of redesign and modernization to adapt to evolving defense needs.
