Kings Place is a concert hall and art centre located in King's Cross, London. Opened in 2008, it was developed as part of the regeneration of the area around the station. The venue is housed within a former biscuit factory and retains some of its industrial architectural features. It comprises two main performance spaces: Hall One, renowned for its acoustics and suitability for chamber music, orchestral performances and jazz; and Studio Two, a more intimate space used for recitals, talks and smaller-scale events. Kings Place is also home to radio stations Jazz FM and Classic FM, and actively promotes artistic development through residencies and educational programs.
