The Sultan Room is a performance venue located within the Turk’s Inn hotel in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Originally constructed in the late 1980s as a themed motel designed to resemble a Moroccan riad, the space features ornate architectural details including arched doorways, mosaic tiling and a distinctively decorated interior. After periods of disuse and partial closure, it was renovated and reopened as a live music venue in 2018. The Sultan Room has since become known for hosting a diverse range of artists spanning genres like jazz, global music, and experimental rock; prioritizing intimate concert experiences within its unique setting.
