Rymden, the Swedish instrumental quartet featuring members of post-rock bands Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, and Tycho, will perform at Domicil E.V. - Trägerverein in Dortmund, Germany on October 24, 2026. Their music is generally described as cinematic and atmospheric post-rock, characterized by expansive soundscapes, layered instrumentation – often incorporating synthesizers – and a focus on mood and texture over traditional song structures. Rymden’s debut album, released in 2023, explores themes of space and isolation through largely instrumental compositions.

Domicil E.V. - Trägerverein is a non-profit cultural organization and venue located in Dortmund. Established in 1988, it operates as a self-managed cultural center prioritizing independent and alternative music & arts programming. Originally founded as a squatted youth center, Domicil has evolved into a legally recognized association maintaining its commitment to providing a platform for artists outside of mainstream circuits. The venue hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, exhibitions, workshops and film screenings.
