Romain Leleu is a French trumpeter internationally recognized for his virtuosic technique and expansive repertoire. His musical style blends classical foundations with explorations into jazz, contemporary music, and world music influences, often characterized by lyrical phrasing and a bright, clear tone. He frequently commissions new works and collaborates with artists across genres.
The concert will take place at the Kroměříž Archbishop’s Palace, a significant historical and cultural landmark in the Czech Republic. Originally built in the late 17th century as the summer residence of the Olomouc bishops, it evolved alongside their status, becoming an archbishop’s palace in 1777. The palace complex showcases a blend of Baroque and Classical architectural styles.
Its gardens, redesigned in the English landscape style during the early 19th century, are considered among the most important examples of their kind in Central Europe. The palace interiors feature richly decorated halls adorned with frescoes, stucco work, and collections of historical furniture and art. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998, the palace continues to serve as a venue for cultural events alongside its function as a museum and historical site administered by the National Monument Authority.
