Rodrigo y Gabriela are a Mexican acoustic guitar duo renowned for their energetic and innovative instrumental compositions. Their music blends flamenco, rock, and jazz influences, characterized by rapid-fire fingerpicking, percussive techniques on the guitar bodies, and complex rhythmic interplay. Originally busking on the streets of Ireland in the late 1990s, they gained international recognition through independent album releases and extensive touring.

The concert is scheduled to take place at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on March 21st, 2027. This venue has a significant history as a prominent live music space in London. Originally opened as the Hammersmith Empire in 1903, it was designed by Frank Matcham, a prolific theatre architect. Throughout its history it functioned as a variety theatre hosting music hall acts and later transitioning into a cinema.

Re-established as a music venue in 1994, it became known as the Shepherds Bush Empire before being rebranded with O2 sponsorship. The building retains many of its original Art Nouveau features and is noted for its intimate atmosphere despite holding approximately 2,000 people standing or 1,300 seated.
