Roberto Treviño, a Mexican-American composer and conductor known for his vibrant and accessible contemporary classical music, will perform at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, France on October 15, 2026. Treviño’s compositions often blend orchestral textures with influences from Latin American rhythms and melodies, creating works that are both emotionally resonant and technically engaging. He frequently focuses on themes of cultural identity and storytelling through music.

The Palais de la Musique et des Congrès (PMC) is a major cultural and convention center in Strasbourg, inaugurated in 2000. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the complex features several performance spaces, including a large concert hall (“Salle des Spectacles”) capable of seating over 1200 people, as well as modular spaces for conferences and exhibitions. The PMC was conceived as part of a larger urban renewal project aiming to revitalize the area around the railway station. It hosts a diverse range of events encompassing classical music, opera, contemporary dance, theatre, and large-scale congresses. The building’s architectural design incorporates glass and steel elements intended to reflect the city's modern character while integrating with its historic surroundings.
