RIO KOSTA’s music blends traditional Balkan brass band sounds with elements of electronic dance music, funk, and hip-hop, creating a high-energy and often improvisational live experience. The group is known for its dynamic performances featuring complex arrangements and virtuosic musicianship.

The Greek Theatre is an iconic outdoor amphitheater located in the hills of Berkeley, overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Originally constructed in 1903 as a replica of the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus in Greece, it has a long history of hosting diverse performances. It underwent significant renovations and reconstruction in the 1970s following damage from an earthquake and was reopened in 1973. The venue is renowned for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere despite its capacity of approximately 8,500 seats. Throughout its history, it has hosted a wide range of artists including musical acts, theatrical productions, and public speakers. The theatre is owned by the University of California, Berkeley and operated by Another Planet Entertainment.
