Birdland Marina is an outdoor performance space affiliated with the historic Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan’s Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. Originally opened in 1949, the original Birdland was renowned as “The Jazz Corner of the World,” hosting legendary performers like Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane. While the original club closed in 1965, it was revived in 1986 at a new location. Birdland Marina extends the club’s programming to an open-air setting during warmer months, offering a more casual atmosphere while maintaining its commitment to presenting high-quality jazz performances.
