Rebirth Brass Band is scheduled to perform at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, New York on September 18, 2026. The band is a prominent ensemble within the New Orleans brass band tradition, blending jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop influences with traditional marching band instrumentation. Formed in 1983, they are known for their energetic live performances and improvisational skills, having significantly contributed to the evolution of the genre. They’ve received a Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album in 2012.

Knox Farm State Park encompasses approximately 600 acres in Erie County. Originally a working dairy farm established in the late 19th century by Seymour H. Knox, it was gifted to the state of New York in 1946 by his son, George Matthew Knox II, with the stipulation that it be maintained as a park and agricultural center. The park retains many of its historic farm buildings, including a large dairy barn and farmhouse, reflecting its agricultural past. Today it offers recreational opportunities such as hiking trails, cross-country skiing and equestrian activities alongside ongoing agricultural programs demonstrating sustainable farming practices.
