Rebirth Brass Band will perform at Battery Park City, New York on July 9, 2026. The band is a prominent ensemble within the New Orleans brass band tradition, blending jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop influences. Originating in the 1980s, they are known for their energetic live performances and contributions to modernizing the genre, incorporating original compositions alongside traditional New Orleans standards. They frequently feature improvisation and a dynamic interplay between instruments like trombone, trumpet, sousaphone, and drums.

Battery Park City is a planned community located on the southwestern tip of Manhattan Island in New York City. Developed following the September 11th attacks as part of Lower Manhattan’s revitalization efforts, it occupies land that was previously part of the Hudson River waterfront. Construction began in the early 1990s on landfill extending into the Hudson River. The area is characterized by its parks, residential buildings, and commercial spaces designed to offer public access to the waterfront. It’s managed by the Battery Park City Authority which oversees development and maintenance of the neighborhood's infrastructure and open spaces. The venue within Battery Park City for this concert is currently unknown.
