Originating in the 1980s, Rebirth Brass Band gained recognition for revitalizing the genre with energetic performances and innovative arrangements, moving beyond traditional funeral marches and second line rhythms to incorporate contemporary influences. 170 Russell is a well-known live music venue in Melbourne. Originally constructed as a market building in the late 19th century, the space underwent significant transformations before becoming a dedicated entertainment space.
