Ravi Coltrane, son of jazz saxophone legend John Coltrane and pianist Alice Coltrane, will perform at Cadogan Hall in London on July 9th, 2026. His musical style is deeply rooted in post-bop and modal jazz traditions inherited from his parents, yet incorporates elements of contemporary improvisation and a distinctive tenor saxophone sound. Often characterized by its intensity and spiritual undercurrents, Coltrane’s work frequently features extended solos and complex harmonic explorations. He has led numerous ensembles throughout his career, consistently demonstrating a commitment to both honoring his lineage and forging his own innovative path within jazz.

Cadogan Hall is a prominent concert venue located in Sloane Square, Chelsea, London. Originally built as a public hall for St. Mary’s Hospital for Women in 1907, it underwent significant renovation and reopened as a dedicated concert hall in 2001. The hall is renowned for its excellent acoustics, making it a favoured space for orchestral performances, chamber music, and jazz concerts.
