Punch Brothers will perform at the Konzerthaus Berlin (Konzertsaal) on January 25, 2027. The group is a contemporary American bluegrass band, though their music significantly expands upon traditional bluegrass conventions. They are known for incorporating elements of jazz, classical, rock, and folk into their compositions and instrumental work. Formed in 2006, Punch Brothers features Chris Thile on mandolin and vocals, alongside Gabe Witcher on fiddle, Paul Kowert on bass, Chris Eldridge on guitar, and Jamey Harper on banjo. Their arrangements often showcase complex harmonies, virtuosic playing, and thoughtful songwriting.

The Konzerthaus Berlin, completed in 1985, is a major concert hall situated on Gendarmenmarkt square in Berlin. Designed by Hans Scharoun, it is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and distinctive architecture. The hall primarily hosts classical music performances but also accommodates a variety of other genres. It is the home of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and offers a seating capacity of approximately 1985 people.
