Experience Porches live on September 26th

Porches is scheduled to perform at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, Washington on September 26, 2026. The project, primarily the work of musician Aaron Maine, blends elements of indie pop, synth-pop, and lo-fi electronic music. Early Porches releases were characterized by a distinctly bedroom-pop aesthetic, evolving over subsequent albums to incorporate more polished production and influences from 80s new wave and dance music. Lyrically, themes often explore intimacy, alienation, and modern relationships.

The Knitting Factory has a significant history within the independent music scene. Originally founded in New York City in 1987 by Michael Dorf, it quickly became a renowned venue for alternative and emerging artists across genres including rock, punk, hip hop and experimental music. The Spokane location opened in 2011 as part of an expansion that included venues in several other cities. It maintains a focus on showcasing both established and up-and-coming musicians while providing a space for diverse artistic expression. The Spokane venue features a concert hall with a capacity of approximately 650 people and hosts events ranging from national touring acts to local performances. It is known for its intimate setting and quality sound system.
