Poolside is an American electronic music duo known for their “daytime disco” sound. Characterized by a blend of Balearic house, nu-disco, and funk influences, their music typically features mellow grooves, shimmering synthesizers, and often incorporates vocal samples. Formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Jeffraj and Filip Nikolic, Poolside gained recognition for creating a relaxed, sun-drenched sonic aesthetic.

Papaya Playa Project is a well-established venue located on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Originally founded in 2008 as a small beach club, it has evolved into a prominent destination for electronic music events and art installations. The venue is known for its commitment to sustainable practices and immersive experiences that integrate music with the natural environment. It frequently hosts international DJs and producers across various electronic genres. Papaya Playa Project gained significant visibility through its annual BPM Festival (now Zamna Festival) events before becoming an independent entity focusing on its own curated programming.
