Osmo Vänskä will conduct a concert at La Maison Symphonique de Montréal on February 3, 2027. Vänskä is a Finnish conductor renowned for his interpretations of the standard classical and romantic repertoire, as well as a strong focus on contemporary music, particularly that of Finnish composers. His conducting style is often described as precise, analytical, and characterized by clarity of texture and rhythmic drive. He previously served as Chief Conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and the Minnesota Orchestra.

La Maison Symphonique de Montréal, completed in 2011, is the primary performance hall for the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM). It replaced the Salle Wilfred-Pelletier in Place des Arts, which had served as the OSM’s home since 1963. Designed by Provencher_Roy architects in collaboration with acoustics firm Artec Consultants Inc., it is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics—consistently ranked among the best in the world—achieved through a vineyard-style seating arrangement and adjustable acoustic panels.
