Oslo Philharmonic is recognized internationally for its rich orchestral sound and commitment to both traditional repertoire and contemporary music. The orchestra frequently performs works from the Romantic and Classical periods, alongside commissions and interpretations of modern compositions. The concert on April 3rd, 2027 will be held at Sentralen, a historically significant building in Oslo. Originally constructed in 1899 as the headquarters for the Norwegian Association of Farmers (Norsk Landmandsforbund), Sentralen served as a central hub for agricultural policy and rural interests for much of the 20th century. Following extensive renovations completed in 2015, it was repurposed as a vibrant cultural center and meeting place.

Today, Sentralen houses various event spaces, co-working areas, restaurants, and a bookstore. Its architecture blends historical elements with modern design, creating a unique atmosphere. The building’s main hall – where Oslo Philharmonic will perform – is known for its acoustics and ornate detailing reflective of its original purpose as a grand assembly space.
