The concert on September 5th, 2026 will take place at Sentralen, a historically significant building in Oslo. Originally constructed between 1907 and 1911 as the headquarters for the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), Sentralen served as a central hub for labour movements and political activity for much of the 20th century. Its architecture reflects the era’s functionalist style, though with ornate detailing indicative of its importance.

Following extensive renovations completed in 2015, Sentralen now functions as a cultural centre hosting diverse events including concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and co-working spaces. The building retains many original features alongside modern additions, creating a blend of historical significance and contemporary usability. The main hall where Oslo Philharmonic will perform boasts excellent acoustics suitable for orchestral performances.
