Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo (OSESP) is recognized as one of Brazil’s leading symphony orchestras, performing a broad repertoire encompassing works from the Baroque period through contemporary compositions. The concert on July 31, 2026 will be held at Sala São Paulo. This concert hall is situated within the restored Júlio Prestes Railway Station, a landmark building dating back to 1884. Originally designed as a railway terminal showcasing São Paulo’s economic power during the coffee boom, the station fell into disrepair before undergoing extensive renovations completed in 1999.

Sala São Paulo is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, consistently ranked among the best in the world. The hall's design incorporated contributions from acoustic expert Marcelo Gaba, who addressed challenges presented by the building’s historical structure to achieve optimal sound quality. It features a vineyard-style seating arrangement intended to enhance intimacy between performers and audience members and has become a central venue for classical music performance in Latin America.
