Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, established in 1988, is a symphony orchestra dedicated to performing a broad repertoire encompassing classical and contemporary works. The orchestra frequently focuses on Spanish composers alongside internationally recognized pieces, and actively participates in educational outreach programs throughout the Community of Madrid. Their performances are known for showcasing both established soloists and emerging talent.
The concert will take place at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. Inaugurated in 1992, the Auditorio Nacional was built as part of the city’s cultural infrastructure improvements ahead of Expo '92. Designed by architect Rafael Moneo, it is notable for its modern architectural style and exceptional acoustics. The main hall, the Sala Sinfónica, is specifically engineered for symphonic performances and accommodates over 2,300 people.
The venue hosts a diverse range of musical events including orchestral concerts, chamber music recitals, and choral performances. It is considered one of Spain’s premier concert halls and plays a significant role in the country's classical music scene. The building also houses a smaller chamber music hall (Sala de Cámara) and various rehearsal spaces.
