Orchestra Mambo International performs a vibrant and energetic style of Latin music rooted in the classic mambo sounds of the 1940s and 50s. The ensemble draws heavily from the arrangements of Pérez Prado, Tito Rodríguez, and Dámaso Pérez, alongside incorporating elements of cha-cha-chá, son montuno, and other Afro-Cuban rhythms. They are known for their dynamic stage presence and commitment to preserving the authentic sound of this era while also injecting contemporary energy.

The Stables, located in Wavendon, Milton Keynes, is a renowned intimate music venue with a significant history within the UK music scene. Originally a working farm building, it was converted into a performance space by jazz musician Joe Harriott in 1970. Harriott’s vision was to create a dedicated space for innovative and diverse musical performances – particularly jazz – outside of London’s established venues.

Throughout its history, The Stables has hosted numerous internationally acclaimed artists across various genres, whilst maintaining its focus on supporting emerging talent. The venue is noted for its excellent acoustics and close proximity between performers and audience members, fostering an engaging atmosphere.
