Orchestra Mambo International performs a vibrant and energetic style of Latin music rooted in the mambo tradition of the 1940s and 50s. Their sound incorporates elements of salsa, cha-cha-chá, and other Afro-Cuban rhythms, delivered with a contemporary energy and often featuring dynamic horn arrangements. The ensemble is known for its tight instrumentation and engaging stage presence, aiming to recreate the excitement of the classic big band mambo sound while incorporating modern influences.

Hare & Hounds is a well-established independent venue located in Kings Heath, Birmingham. Originally built as a Victorian billiard hall in 1861, it transitioned into a music venue in the 1960s and has since become a significant part of Birmingham’s independent music scene. Throughout its history, it has hosted early performances from numerous prominent artists across various genres including UB40, The Pogues, and Dexys Midnight Runners.

The venue operates across two spaces: a larger main room capable of holding approximately 250 people and a smaller bar area which frequently features more intimate performances or DJ sets.
