Night Club 101 has operated as a live music venue in Manhattan’s Lower East Side since 1988. Originally gaining prominence for showcasing emerging alternative rock and post-punk bands during the late 80s and early 90s, it transitioned over time to accommodate a wider range of genres including jazz, electronic, and experimental music. The club is known for its intimate setting – holding approximately 250 people – and its commitment to maintaining a high-quality sound system.
