St Brendan’s Church is a significant landmark in Bantry, originally constructed in 1836 as part of the estate of Richard White, the first Earl of Bantry. The church underwent substantial renovations in the late 20th century following damage caused by structural issues. Its acoustics are frequently praised, making it a favoured venue for musical performances.
