Nobuyuki Tsujii is a Japanese pianist recognized for his deeply expressive and technically brilliant performances, often characterized by a Romantic sensibility and a sensitive approach to phrasing. Despite being blind since birth, he possesses a remarkable ability to memorize and interpret complex musical scores, earning international acclaim following his victory at the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. His repertoire spans a wide range of composers, from classical masters like Chopin and Rachmaninoff to contemporary works.

The concert on September 13, 2026, will be held at Osaka Festival Hall, a significant cultural venue in Osaka, Japan. Completed in 1969 to commemorate the centennial of Osaka Prefecture's establishment, the hall was designed by architect Hiroshi Hara. It’s known for its excellent acoustics and its role as a primary performance space for classical music, opera, and ballet within the Kansai region. The hall features a large concert hall seating approximately 2,444 people and a smaller hall used for chamber music and recitals.
