Nobuyuki Tsujii is a Japanese pianist recognized for his deeply expressive and technically brilliant performances, despite being blind since birth. His repertoire spans a wide range, from classical masters like Chopin and Rachmaninoff to jazz and contemporary compositions. He is particularly known for his intensely emotional interpretations and improvisational skills, often described as possessing a unique and poetic voice at the piano. Tsujii gained international acclaim after winning the gold medal at the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
The Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater, located in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, is a relatively new concert hall opened in April 2023. Designed with acoustics as a primary focus, the theater aims to provide an intimate and high-quality musical experience.
