Formed in the early 1990s, they gained prominence for revitalizing instrumental jazz with a contemporary edge and a strong emphasis on groove. Their sound incorporates elements of improvisation alongside tightly arranged compositions.

Willem Twee Poppodium is a well-established music venue in 's-Hertogenbosch, originally founded in 1969 as a youth centre and evolving into a dedicated space for live music. It’s named after the renowned Dutch sculptor Willem Twee. The venue features three distinct spaces – the main hall (Grote Zaal), the smaller intimate room (Spiegelzaal), and the café/bar area – accommodating a range of performance styles and audience sizes.
