The National Youth Choir of Great Britain (NYCGB) will perform at Cheltenham Town Hall on August 2nd, 2026. The NYCGB is renowned for its diverse repertoire, encompassing classical choral works, contemporary pieces often commissioned specifically for the choir, and arrangements of popular music. The choir brings together young singers aged 14-18 from across the United Kingdom, selected through a rigorous audition process.

Cheltenham Town Hall opened in 1902 and is a significant example of Edwardian architecture. Designed by architects Lansdown & Scott, it was built as part of a larger complex intended to enhance Cheltenham’s cultural offerings. Throughout its history, the hall has hosted a wide range of events, including concerts, political rallies, and dances. It underwent a major refurbishment completed in 2018 which restored many original features while incorporating modern facilities. The building is recognised as a Grade II listed structure due to its architectural and historical importance within the town and wider region. It continues to function as a key venue for performing arts and community events in Cheltenham.
