The Regent Theater, located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, has a history rooted in various entertainment formats. Originally opening in 1931 as a movie palace designed by architect Clifford C. Balch, it underwent several transformations including periods as a CBS television studio and a church.

Restored and reopened as a live music venue in 2018 by the team behind The Echo and Echoplex venues, it maintains much of its original Art Deco architecture. The space is known for its intimate setting – holding approximately 350 attendees – and high-quality sound system.
