Monamor is a musical project led by Indonesian-American artist, Rina Sawayama, known for blending elements of nu-metal, pop, R&B, and electronic music. Her work often explores themes of identity, family, and navigating cultural complexities, frequently incorporating distorted sounds alongside melodic vocals and dynamic production.
Be’er Sheva Park, located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, was established in 1978 as part of a sister city relationship between Seattle and Be’er Sheva, Israel. The park’s creation stemmed from a donation of land by the Seattle Rotary Club and was designed to symbolize the connection between the two cities. It features a distinctive sculpture created by Israeli artist Yigal Tumarkin in 1977, constructed from salvaged metal and intended to represent themes of peace and renewal. The park itself is relatively small – approximately half an acre – but serves as a community green space within a densely populated residential area. It is maintained by the Seattle Parks and Recreation department. The park has hosted smaller community events previously but is not typically a large concert venue.
