Molly Tuttle is a highly regarded American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, primarily known for her innovative approach to bluegrass and Americana music. Her style blends traditional acoustic elements with influences from folk, indie rock, and progressive guitar playing, often featuring intricate flatpicking and emotionally resonant songwriting. She gained prominence after winning the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year award three times consecutively (2017-2019) – the first woman to ever achieve this recognition. Tuttle has released several critically acclaimed albums, including “When You’re Ready” (2019) and “Crooked Tree” (2022).
The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a historic performing arts venue originally opened in 1940 as a movie palace. Designed in the Art Deco style by architects Peter & Clark, it served as a popular entertainment destination for decades showing films and hosting live performances. Following a period of decline and closure, a significant restoration project was completed in 2016, revitalizing the auditorium and returning it to its former grandeur. The Klein now functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting concerts, Broadway shows, comedy acts, and other cultural events.
