Experience Molchat Doma live on September 14th

Molchat Doma, a Belarusian post-punk band formed in 2017, will be performing at Lowbrow Palace in El Paso, Texas on September 14, 2026. Their music is characterized by its dark, minimalist soundscapes, heavily influenced by 1980s Soviet post-punk and new wave. Vocals are primarily delivered in Russian, contributing to the band’s distinctive aesthetic and often exploring themes of alienation and societal critique. They gained international recognition through social media, particularly with their song “Sudno (Boris Ryzhy),” becoming prominent figures within the revival of Coldwave music.

Lowbrow Palace is an intimate live music venue located in downtown El Paso. Established in 2013, it has become known for hosting a diverse range of independent and underground musical acts spanning genres like punk, indie rock, experimental electronic music and hip-hop. The venue deliberately maintains a raw and unpolished atmosphere; its interior features exposed brick walls and a generally small capacity, fostering close interaction between performers and audience members. It’s frequently utilized by both local El Paso artists as well as touring bands seeking a more alternative performance space than larger venues offer.
