Mobb, a Belgian hip-hop formation originating from Antwerp, will perform at The Velinx in Tongeren, Belgium on February 27, 2027. Their music is characterized by a blend of Dutch-language rap with influences from trap and drill, often incorporating dark and atmospheric production. The group gained prominence in the early 2020s with tracks addressing themes of street life, loyalty, and personal struggles, establishing a significant following within the Flemish hip-hop scene. Members include Adje, Chiko, and Madfingers.

The Velinx is a relatively new multi-functional event space located in Tongeren, Limburg. Opened in 2021 as part of the broader ‘Broedplaats’ (breeding ground) initiative aimed at fostering local creativity and culture, it occupies a repurposed industrial building formerly used for agricultural purposes. The venue hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, exhibitions, workshops and theatre performances. It is known for its flexible layout allowing for both intimate gatherings and larger scale productions. The Velinx actively supports emerging artists alongside established names across various disciplines and has quickly become a key cultural hub for the region. Its capacity is approximately 800 people for standing concerts.
