Microwave, a band originating from Atlanta, Georgia, will be performing at Park Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 31, 2026. Park Theatre first opened its doors in 1931 as a single-screen movie house. Throughout its history, it operated primarily as a cinema but underwent renovations in the early 2000s to transform into a live performance venue while retaining its cinematic capabilities. The building maintains much of its original Art Deco architecture. Today, Park Theatre hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, comedy shows, film screenings and theatrical productions. It is known for its intimate setting and relatively small capacity – approximately 350 standing or 250 seated – fostering close interaction between performers and audiences. The venue is located on Portage Avenue in the West End neighbourhood of Winnipeg.
