Melbourne Ska Orchestra will be performing at Crowbar in Leichhardt, New South Wales on October 16, 2026. Formed in Melbourne in 1994, they blend traditional Jamaican sounds with influences from various genres, creating a uniquely Australian take on the ska revival. They have released multiple albums and toured extensively both domestically and internationally.

Crowbar, located in the inner-west suburb of Leichhardt, has a long history as a live music venue. Originally established in 1997, it quickly became a focal point for alternative and independent music scenes in Sydney. The venue is recognised for its intimate setting and commitment to supporting emerging and established artists across diverse genres including punk, hardcore, metal, and rock. It’s known for a raw aesthetic and dedicated local following. Over the years Crowbar has hosted numerous national and international acts, contributing significantly to Sydney’s live music landscape. It relocated to its current premises on Parramatta Road in 2012 after facing closure at its original location.
