Experience Martha Argerich live on July 26th
Martha Argerich will perform at the Palais Princier de Monaco in Monte-Carlo on July 26, 2026. Argerich is internationally renowned for her passionate and virtuosic interpretations of classical piano repertoire, particularly works by composers such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Liszt. Her playing is characterized by a powerful technique, rhythmic drive, and a distinctive, often intensely emotional approach. She is considered one of the greatest pianists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The Palais Princier de Monaco serves as the official residence of the Sovereign Prince of Monaco and the headquarters of his household. The palace’s history dates back to the Genoese fortress constructed in 1215. While originally a fortress, it was gradually transformed into a princely residence over centuries. The current Baroque-style palace largely reflects renovations undertaken during the 17th and 18th centuries under Princes Honoré II and Charles III.
The palace grounds are open to the public for certain periods each year, including visits to the State Apartments.
