Marmoucha Orchestra will perform at Bimhuis in Amsterdam on November 19, 2026. Bimhuis, the venue for this performance, is a renowned jazz club with a significant history within the Dutch music scene. Opened in 1974, it initially operated as an underground venue before relocating to its current purpose-built building on the Oosterdok in 2003. Designed by architectural firm Claus en Kaan Architecten, the building’s acoustic design is specifically tailored for optimal sound quality and features a main hall (“de grote zaal”) alongside a smaller hall (“de kleine zaal”). Bimhuis consistently hosts both internationally acclaimed artists and emerging talents across various jazz subgenres and related musical styles, functioning as an important cultural hub for both performers and audiences.
