The Radrennbahn Bielefeld is a velodrome – a banked oval track designed for bicycle racing – located in Bielefeld, Germany. Originally constructed in 1928, it's one of the oldest still-existing velodromes in Germany. While primarily used for cycling events including training and competitions across various disciplines (track cycling, artistic cycling), the Radrennbahn has increasingly been utilized as an unconventional venue for concerts and cultural events in recent years. Its unique circular structure and historical significance provide an unusual atmosphere for performances. The venue’s open-air nature means events are subject to weather conditions. It underwent renovations in the early 2000s to improve facilities while preserving its original character. The location is easily accessible by public transport and offers limited on-site parking.
