Marco Mezquida will perform at Stockholm Concert Hall on October 16, 2026. Mezquida is a Spanish pianist and composer known for his distinctive approach to solo piano improvisation and composition, often described as blending elements of jazz, classical music, and flamenco influences. Stockholm Concert Hall (Stockholms Konserthus) opened in 1926 and is renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Designed by architect Ivar Tengbom, the hall is considered a prime example of Swedish Modernism. It’s the permanent home of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and hosts a wide range of classical music performances, as well as other events. The Blue Hall, famed for its acoustics and used for orchestral performances, is particularly noted for its curved walls and ceiling designed to optimize sound distribution.
