Lip Critic is scheduled to perform at Electric City in Buffalo, New York on August 3, 2026. Electric City is a standing-room general admission venue located in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1929 as a theater showcasing vaudeville and film, it underwent periods of disuse before being revitalized as a music venue in the late 1980s. Throughout its history, Electric City has hosted a diverse range of national and regional acts spanning genres including punk, alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic music. It’s known for its intimate setting and strong connection to the local arts community. The building retains architectural features from its original design while providing a space conducive to live performances. Its capacity is approximately 600 people.
