The Stone Pony Summer Stage is an outdoor venue connected to the legendary Stone Pony nightclub. The original Stone Pony, opened in 1974, has a significant history as a launching pad for numerous prominent musicians, particularly those associated with the New Jersey shore sound – including Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes. The Summer Stage was added to provide a larger capacity performance space during warmer months.
