Lenny White will be performing at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts in Queens, New York on October 22, 2026. White is a highly respected drummer and composer known for his work spanning jazz, fusion, and funk. He gained prominence as a member of Chick Corea’s Return to Forever in the 1970s, contributing significantly to the group’s pioneering sound. Throughout his career, White has also collaborated with artists like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Jaco Pastorius, releasing numerous albums as a leader and sideman.

The Kupferberg Center for the Arts is located on the Queens College campus. Originally opened in 1962 as the Queens College Performing Arts Center, it was renamed in 1984 to honor benefactor Harry F. Kupferberg. The center comprises several performance spaces including Colden Auditorium – a proscenium theatre – and LeFrak Concert Hall, designed specifically for orchestral and chamber music performances.
