Kloster Eberbach is a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1135. Situated in the Rheingau wine region, it served for centuries as a significant agricultural and economic center for the order. Following secularization in 1803, the monastery transitioned through various uses including a Prussian forestry academy and, since 1945, as a state-owned cultural heritage site.

The complex is architecturally notable for its Romanesque and Gothic elements, including its well-preserved cloister and wine cellar – one of the largest historical vaulted cellars in Germany.
