Leftover Salmon is scheduled to perform at The Great Northern Bar & Grill in Whitefish, Montana on July 19, 2026. The band is widely recognized as a pioneer of bluegrass-influenced “jamgrass,” blending elements of traditional bluegrass, rock, folk, Cajun, and country music. Formed in Telluride, Colorado in 1989, Leftover Salmon gained prominence for their energetic live performances and distinctive sound featuring banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass, and drums. Throughout their career they've released numerous albums and collaborated with artists across various genres.

The Great Northern Bar & Grill is a long-standing music venue located in downtown Whitefish. Established in 1972, it has become a cornerstone of the local music scene and a popular stop for touring bands. Known for its intimate atmosphere and focus on live music, the venue regularly hosts regional and national acts spanning genres including rock, blues, country and Americana. The building itself has undergone renovations over the years but maintains its historic character. It’s known for supporting both established artists and emerging talent within the Northwest Montana area.
